On Sunday, OSU and Stillwater were named as an NCAA Baseball Regional host for the first time since 2015.
The next morning, the OSU Cowboy baseball squad watched in the team meeting room as they waited for their name to be called for a national seed on ESPN’s NCAA Baseball Selection Show.
After hearing they received the No. 7 slot, the Stillwater Regional field was set with Arkansas and Grand Canyon University at 12:00 p.m. followed by Oklahoma State and Missouri State at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
ESPN’s selection show had many positive things to say about the Cowboys, including their coaching staff, which is one of the most MLB-experienced coaching staffs in all of college baseball.
