Oklahoma State has received a new commitment out of the transfer portal.
Malik Charles, a defensive end who played at West Georgia last season, announced his decision to play for the Cowboys Tuesday afternoon. Charles, who spent time at Western New Mexico and Nothern Arizona before West Georgia, recorded seven sacks and 10 tackles for loss across eleven games last season.
Before committing to OSU, Charles received offers from Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Nebraska and Arizona State, among others.
Charles, who has two years of eligibility remaining, has a chance to play a role for an OSU team that is looking to replace several key contributors on the defensive line, including Collin Oliver, Collin Clay, and Obi Ezeigbo.
