Houston traveled to Norman to play Oklahoma and lost 16-12.
The Cougars quarterback Donovan Smith had an impressive game with 260 yards and an 85.7% completion percentage; however, with a little more than a minute to play down 14-12, the Sooners forced a safety, putting the game out of reach.
The Cougars host Rice next week as it still looks for its first win.

Cincinnati faced against Pittsburgh and lost close, 28-27.
