Michael Weathers, an Oklahoma State point guard, is facing charges of felony grand larceny and was suspended indefinitely from the men’s basketball team.
Wednesday, CBS Sports first reported the news about Weathers, a redshirt sophomore.
Weathers was charged with one count of grand larceny Sept. 10, according to the docket on the Oklahoma State Courts Network website. Weathers was released on a $35 personal recognizance bond filed that day, according to court records.
Police arrested Weathers at 1:58 a.m. on Sept. 9 at J.R. Murphy’s, a bar at 306 S. Washington St., according to the probable cause affidavit.
