The redshirt freshman quarterback, who appears to be in a battle with graduate transfer Dru Brown for the starting gig to succeed Taylor Cornelius, rifled a pass in practice to fellow redshirt freshman C.J. Moore this week. The result was a one-handed catch from Moore, the Tulsa Union standout.
The catch itself was impressive, but the pass? Whooo boy, the pass. Tight spiral. Perfect trajectory. Impeccable timing. Moore caught it just as soon as he was about to go out of bounds.
