Oklahoma State men’s basketball got a big boost to its 2019 recruiting class Sunday with the commitment of four-star shooting guard Marcus Watson.
His commitment came as a surprise to many. Watson, from Buford, Georgia, had Georgia Tech in his top-four schools, and many people saw the Yellow Jackets as a heavy favorite.
Watson becomes the fourth member of the Cowboys’ 2019 class, joining four-star recruits Avery Anderson and Kalib Boone, as well as Keylan Boone. The Cowboys’ class is No. 3 in the Big 12 and No. 18 nationally.
Watson is the highest-ranked player in OSU’s class.
