BIXBY, Okla. — The hype surrounding the Boone twins — Keylan and Kalib — grew too palpable this spring to ignore. So I made a trip to Bixby, Oklahoma on Saturday morning to see what the hubbub was all about in their Route 66 showcase tournament opener.
As stars of Oklahoma’s Playing With Purpose squad, both 2019 prospects showed out. Despite taking a loss, they combined for 32 points — 16 a piece — and got 13 from their running mate and fellow in-state standout Bryce Thompson, a 2020 top-40 guard from Booker T. Washington.
After the game, each broke down their recruitment process and updated where OSU stands in the mix.
