On Saturday night, FloWrestling hosted its annual “Who’s #1?” event to determine the No. 1 ranked high school wrestlers across the country. Three committed OSU wrestlers competed here.
The first future Cowboy to roll out on Saturday was Victor Voinovich. He took on Nebraska commit Jagger Condomitti. In the first period Voinovich got in on deep on a shot early and worked for a finish for the rest of the period. Voinovich was unable to finish and the match went into the second tied up 0-0. Condomitti chose bottom in the second and Voinovich, who is known for his top game, put on a ride for a bit before being reversed and ridden out to go into the third period down 2-0.
