ARLINGTON, Texas – Josh Holliday stood along the third-base line at Globe Life Field.
The Oklahoma State coach was seemingly emotionless following the No. 17 Cowboys’ 14-8 loss to No. 19 Texas on Sunday night. Yet, his expressionless state simultaneously displayed his array of emotions to a tee.
Holliday was concise and to the point. And sometimes, after a performance like Sunday’s, conciseness is all that is needed to rehash an outing.
“We just didn’t play good enough to win the game,” Holliday bluntly said. “Too many mistakes against a good ballclub – that’s all there is to it.
