The Cowboys unveiled the first of four new jerseys against Central Arkansas on Saturday. OSU styled an orange jersey with black and white striped sleeves. The jersey featured white lettering and black “Oklahoma State” outlines across the chests.
This style of jersey is a throwback to the 1980s, when the Cowboys were led by Ring of Honor members Bob Fenimore, Thurman Thomas and Barry Sanders. All jerseys that the team will wear this season are updated styles of jerseys worn in the 1980’s “Power Era.”
The Cowboys paired the jerseys with all-white pants, which helped fans see Ollie Gordon hurdling over the Central Arkansas defender in the 4th quarter.
