Cornerback depth at OSU over the past several seasons has been as thin as Gundy’s mullet in a rainstorm. To combat it, the coaching staff has brought in graduate transfer after graduate transfer to shore up depth.
From Tyler Patmon to Michael Hunter, Lenzy Pipkins to newly-minted Cowboy Kemah Siverand, the experience of these players have bolstered a mostly-shallow position group. However the end of those days may be near, as the once-thin position group slowly thickens out with youth and talent on the recruiting prowess of position coach Tim Duffie.
To add substantive depth to the position, OSU has turned over every stone available; infiltrating its own team has even been a viable route to growth.
