Adding to his growing list of preseason honors, Tylan Wallace was named as a “player to watch” for the 2019 Walter Camp Award.
The award is given annually to college football’s Player of the Year as voted on by FBS coaches and sports directors and presented by the Walter Camp Foundation. Oklahoma State has had one winner in its history. You guessed it, Barry Sanders.
Wallace (who earned a spot on the Walter Camp second-team All-American list last season), was also a first-teamer according to The Sporting News and ESPN, and was a finalist for the Biletnikoff Award.
