In 14 games last season, Oklahoma State safety Trey Rucker had 100 total tackles. A solid number, but calling him one of the best in the Big 12 Conference would’ve been a stretch. After another dominant game against Utah, it no longer seems so ridiculous.
Rucker added another note in what has been a terrific season for the super senior in the Cowboys' 22-19 loss to Utah on Saturday at Boone Pickens Stadium. Rucker recorded a team-high 14 tackles against the Utes. Most importantly, Rucker added two interceptions to his career total, which now sits at four.
One of those interceptions came early in the game when Utah quarterback Isaac Wilson tried to go deep.
