NFL Network broadcasters were buzzing about the speed of the safeties at the NFL Scouting Combine Monday in Indianapolis. And that included Oklahoma State's Tre Flowers.
Flowers, who measured in at 6-foot-3 1/4 and 202 pounds on Sunday, was clocked with a 4.45-second 40-yard dash.
Flowers also held up well in on-field defensive back drills.
Overall, it was a successful week at the combine for former Cowboys.
Receiver Chris Lacy took full advantage of the unexpected invitation, showing good speed with a 4.51-second 40, best of the OSU receivers. James Washington and Marcell Ateman both solidified their value with their on-field work.
