Travis Wittlake flips commitment from Penn State to Oklahoma State

Travis Wittlake, the top-ranked 182-pounder and second-ranked recruit in the country, is the second wrestler this week to change his commitment from a Big Ten school to Oklahoma State.

Wittlake, an Oregon native, announced his decommitment from two-time reigning national champion Penn State via Instagram on Tuesday. Instead, he has committed to OSU. He is a multi-time Fargo Nationals champion and 2016 Cadet World bronze medalist at 76 kilograms.

“I went on a visit to Oklahoma State, and felt it was the place I should be," Wittlake told FloWrestling.com. "Aside from all the recruiting, the phone calls, the coaches, I felt Oklahoma State provided my kind of atmosphere, and people.
