Oklahoma State has lost several players this year to transfer. The first to happen midseason — and only four games in — was senior wide receiver Jalen McCleskey. MCcCleskey was unhappy in his current role in the Cowboys passing attack, and used the four-game redshirt rule to preserve his eligibility.
McCleskey graduated in December has transferred to join Tulane.
McCleskey was the first of what has been a steady flow of outgoing talent in Stillwater. Since he announced, several skill players — including two other players on offense — have joined him in seeking out new places to take their athletic talents.
