Hamilton High School (Ariz.) star Brenden Rice knows a thing or two about what it takes to be an elite wide receiver. A four-star prospect from Arizona, he knows because he’s gotten firsthand accounts from a legend.
Rice is the son of Hall of Fame receiver Jerry Rice, a 13-time Pro Bowler, 10-time All-Pro, three-time Super Bowl Champ, and one of the very best receivers in the game of football. Ever. So he’s got a decent pedigree, you might say.
Oklahoma State took a gamble on that pedigree this week (which is the equivalent of hitting the dealer on 5) by offering him a scholarship.
