While the Oklahoma State Cowboys were arguably snubbed by the NCAA Tournament Selection Committee, they’re not done playing basketball yet.
Though it won’t be in the Big Dance, the Cowboys will have a chance to host multiple home games in the National Invitation Tournament (NIT). As a 2-seed in the tournament, they’ll face 7-seed Florida Gulf Coast in the first round. The winner of that game will face the winner of BYU/Stanford.
Florida Gulf Coast might be a familiar name for college basketball fans. The Eagles went all the way to the Sweet Sixteen in 2013 as a 15-seed.
