Tom Holliday helped raise Oklahoma State into a college baseball powerhouse, both as an assistant to Gary Ward and later as the program's head coach.
He went from Uniontown, Pa., to play for Ward at Yavapai Community College in Arizona, to Miami, Fla., and back to Arizona on his way to Stillwater.
He raised his sons, Josh and Matt at Allie P. Reynolds Stadium, and watched them leave Stillwater to grand careers in the game — Matt in professional ball and Josh as a coach, circling back to direct a Cowboys team now bidding for a return to the College World Series for the first time since 1999.
