Josh Fields became a made man in Stillwater when he led Oklahoma State's Bedlam upset on the football field in 2001. Then he became one of the few quarterbacks to beat the Sooners twice the next season.
Yet the glory days hardly ended there for Fields, who starred in two sports at OSU, and signed with the Chicago White Sox as a first-round draft pick in 2004.
He played five seasons in the big leagues with the White Sox and Kansas City Royals, and another season in Japan with the Yomiuri Giants, an organization he currently works for as a scout here in the United States.
