Oklahoma State reeled in a major commitment on Tuesday from Texas running back Ollie Gordon, beating out the likes of Michigan, Arkansas, Nebraska, Texas Tech and others for his services.
Gordon is a 6-foot-1, 210-pound Class of 2022 prospect from Euless Trinity, who gives the Pokes their third commitment in the cycle. He’s rated by 247Sports’ Composite as a three-star recruit and barely a top-100 talent in the Lone Star State, though it’s clear his offer sheet doesn’t compute with his ranking.
OSU is getting Gordon at a time when his star is rising, too, a notable coup for running backs coach John Wozniak.
