Tavarius Shine Declares for NBA Draft

Oklahoma State lost a lot when the final buzzer sounded in its third-round NIT matchup against Western Kentucky. A game, a chance to play in Madison Square Garden, and what would turn out to be five rotational players.

Seniors Jeffrey Carroll, Kendall Smith and Mitchell Solomon had played their last play by rule. Junior Tavarius Shine — who also took part in Senior Day activities — had played his last minute by choice.

While it’s not exactly breaking news in late April (Shine and Yankuba Sima announced they would leave Oklahoma State earlier this month), it’s now somewhat more official.
