Parker Scott earned the win in his first start of the season.
He and his Oklahoma State baseball teammates defeated Grand Canyon University 6-4 on Saturday in Phoenix, tying the series at one.
Scott, a left-handed junior from Flower Mound, Texas, pitched for six innings. He allowed two runs, only one of which was earned, but threw four strikeouts to hold back the Antelopes' offense. Scott finished with a 1.50 ERA.
In the bottom of the seventh, sophomore Brett Standlee came out of the bullpen for Scott.
