For the second straight game, the Oklahoma State baseball team defeated the reigning national champion.
The Cowboys pushed past Oregon State 5-2 on Saturday night in Corvallis, Oregon, to seal a series victory.
Christian Funk, a senior third baseman, led the Cowboys with three RBIs. Funk didn’t take long to activate his offensive power. As the second batter in the first inning, he drilled a home run to right field for a 1-0 lead. His sacrifice fly in the third scored Cade Cabbiness.

Cabbiness, a junior right fielder, crossed home again when Funk hit a single to right-center field in the fifth, giving the Cowboys a 4-1 lead.
