Depth isn’t a problem for Iowa State.
The Cyclones claimed a 72-59 victory against the Oklahoma State men’s basketball team on Saturday night in Hilton Coliseum, sweeping the Cowboys during the regular season.
ISU relied on multiple players to carry the offense. The Cyclones have a roster of 16 players, seven more than OSU. The Cowboys’ roster shrunk when coach Mike Boynton dismissed Michael Weathers, Maurice Calloo and Kentrevious Jones on Wednesday because of a rule violation.
The Cowboys (8-10 overall, 2-4 Big 12) created an aggressive defensive unit at times, but they couldn’t suppress the Cyclones.
