With 6:52 remaining in the first half, Oklahoma State trailed Texas Tech 14-7, as the Cowboys had the ball at the Red Raider 37-yard line for a third-and-2.

In wildcat formation, redshirt senior center Joe Michalski snapped the ball to Ollie Gordon II, who handed it off to redshirt junior running back Trent Howland. but Howland flipped it back to Gordon, who then rolled to the right, finding redshirt senior wide receiver Rashod Owens for a 27-yard completion.

Four plays later, Gordon had a 1-yard rushing touchdown.

That was the only throw Gordon had in the Cowboys’ 56-48 loss to TTU, but after that completion to Owens, he took one more snap as quarterback out of wildcat, and that play resulted in a 5-yard for Howland.
