The Texas Rangers have juggled the lineup for its TV broadcast team with Dave Raymond and FS1 sportscaster C.J. Nitkowski getting prominent roles.
Raymond replaces Steve Busby as the main play-by-play voice on the Fox Sports Southwest broadcasts after serving as a substitute announcer last season. He will work alongside Nitkowski, a former major league pitcher, and former Rangers general manager Tom Grieve, who will be entering his 23rd season as a Rangers analyst.
“I now get the best of both worlds, local TV in a great market and national games on the network that knows how to best bring them to you the viewer,” Nitkowski said on his website.
