Like the main character in the final scene of a boxing movie, Oklahoma State saved its fiercest fight for the final moments. For the hundreds of OSU fans providing the atmosphere reminiscent of a blockbuster, though, it was not a happy ending.
Oklahoma beat OSU 6-4 at Cowgirl Stadium in Stillwater. The win kept OU’s aspirations of a Big 12 title alive.
Although the Sooners capturing the Big 12 crown is a scenario that stayed alive with their win in the second game of the series, it was OSU which would not die on Saturday.
