The celebratory, positive energy that filled the Oklahoma State soccer team’s bus as the Cowgirls traveled back from Texas is alive in Stillwater.
OSU will face Illinois at 4 p.m. Friday and Abilene Christian at 1 p.m. Sunday at Cowgirl Soccer Complex.
The Cowgirls enter the match against Illinois with a 5-0-1 record. Michela Ongaro, an OSU senior goalkeeper, said this success has improved team chemistry.
“You build bonds for life at this point, and the more you win, the more you’re able to build those because everyone’s in a good mood,” Ongaro said. “No one’s really pointing fingers, and we’re all working towards one common goal.
