Oklahoma State women's soccer coach Colin Carmichael, left, said the Cowgirls went through "a season of almost" in 2015.
Oklahoma State soccer (9-9-2) could have beaten No. 6 Florida, No. 17 Texas Tech, No. 25 Central Florida and then No. 2 West Virginia twice, but it didn’t. The Cowgirls lost all but one of those games, and each of those losses was decided by one goal.
Coming into the 2015 season, OSU coach Colin Carmichael had high expectations for a refined group that finished runners-up in the Big 12 the year before. A Big 12 Championship and NCAA Tournament bid were on the minds of the coaching staff and players.
