The South Dakota State University football team isn't coming to Stillwater Saturday for a moral victory. When you're a two-time reigning national champion and winner of 29 straight games, moral victories don't exist.
That's what Jackrabbit head coach Jimmy Rogers says, anyhow.
"We've given up moral victories here for a long time," Rogers said in his Tuesday press conference. "We're going there for a reason. We're going there to compete. If we're going to claim we're one of the best in the country, here's an opportunity to showcase that."
Today's Slaughter's House starts with the third OSU-SDSU story of the week — as in Rogers' presser, he spoke of how he's kept NFL-level talent in Brookings, South Dakota, in the transfer portal era, how he thinks his team will fair in the Oklahoma heat and what he thinks about Ollie Gordon II, Alan Bowman and other key players.
