After spending two years at Snow College in Ephraim, Utah, Sione Asi wasn’t sure what the future would hold.
“I was kind in that position where it was either, I’m going to keep playing or just hang it up and go help my parents back home,” Asi said. “But Joe Bob (Clements) and Beni Tonga got a hold of me. My mindset was, whoever offers me first, I’m ready to commit. I really enjoyed being connected with those two and like a year after, I’m still here.”
After being injured most of 2019, Asi rebounded and has become an important rotational piece of OSU’s deep defensive line — oh yeah, and he’s married.
