New Oklahoma State men’s basketball assistant coach Scott Sutton talked to members of the media on Monday. Here’s a transcript of his interview.
Q: How did the opportunity come about?
Sutton: The last place I wanted was to come over to a place where they twisted Mike Boynton’s arm to make this hire. I had a couple of really good conversations with coach. He is a sharp, sharp guy. He has a bright, bright future ahead of him. We talked on the phone a few times and he asked time to come over last week and interview.
