Carrie Eberle jumped first.
As Texas first baseman Colleen Sullivan’s flyball landed deep in the netting of Oklahoma State’s left fielder Chelsea Alexander’s glove, Eberle celebrated.
Jumping high into the air, fists aimed toward the sky, she ripped off her mask and threw he glove down, embracing first baseman Alysen Febrey before eventually being tackled down to the ground by the rest of the team.
“It is indescribable,” Eberle said. “To be able to just have that experience with this team, it is going to be amazing. This is what I came here to do and I mean this has been our goal all year long.
