Thirty years after Barry Sanders' Heisman-winning season, he will return to his alma mater to play a key role in its homecoming celebration.
Sanders, a former running back on the Oklahoma State football team, will serve as a Homecoming 2018 grand marshal, the OSU Alumni Association announced Tuesday. His OSU offensive linemen, known as the "War Pigs," will share the title with him.
They will partake in the Sea of Orange Parade and other events, according to the Alumni Association's press release. The parade will take place on the morning of the Cowboy football team's home game against Texas on Oct.
