Oklahoma State quarterback Mason Rudolph was announced as the winner of the Bobby Bowden Award on Friday.
The award is presented annually in conjunction with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes to the Division I football player who "epitomizes a student-athlete as he represents God, his family, his institution and his community."
Other criteria includes that the honoree conducts himself as an exemplary model in the classroom, on the field, on the campus and in the community
Rudolph is the second Cowboy to win the award, as tight end Billy Bajema won the award in 2004. Clemson's Deshaun Watson won the award in 2016.
