After making a splash on special teams in his freshman season, Malcolm Rodriguez is surely looking to prove himself in the secondary.

Rodriguez, a sophomore, played in the final nine games of the 2017 season, primarily participating on special teams. He made the most of his role, recording 11 special teams tackles. Nobody had more tackles on special teams last season, despite the fact that Rodriguez didn’t play in the first four games.

Rodriguez is a proven winner; he won three consecutive championships at Wagoner High School as the starting quarterback and also contributed in the secondary.
