There’s a bevy of players expected to make their OSU debut in 2018, but a particular running back from Alberta, Canada has fans buzzing.
Chuba Hubbard (pronounced Chew-buh) is more than a fantastic name. He’s a shifty, high-speed running back who has the ability to take the ball to the crib on any given play. His forte is his speed; he placed fourth in the 100-meter dash during 2015’s World Youth Championships. He came to OSU with plans to run track and field but is not on the Cowboys’ roster in either of the past two years.
Hubbard, from Bev Facey Community High School, will be a key cog in OSU’s crowded backfield this coming season.
