Before the season, Oklahoma State men’s basketball coach Mike Boynton said Hidde Roessink could make a case for the best shooter on the team.
Roessink, a freshman from the Netherlands, received a chance to prove Boynton’s claim on Friday at Gallagher-Iba Arena.
Roessink tied for leading scorer in the Cowboys’ 75-63 victory against Rogers State.
RSU scored the first basket, but it was the only time the Cowboys trailed the whole game.
The Hillcats gave OSU problems early in the game, namely in the rebounding department. There were times where the Cowboys’ big men were getting bullied and boxed out in the paint.
