Fresh off a victory at the Scottish Open last weekend, Rickie Fowler will be paired with Englishmen Justin Rose and Nick Faldo at The Open.
Fowler, the former Oklahoma State star, will tee off at at 8:45 a.m. central from the Old Course at St. Andrews, Scotland. Fowler, who's still in search of his first major victory, finished tied for second at last year's Open. Fowler climbed to No. 5 in the world golf rankings with his victory last weekend.
"Phil [Mickelson] mentioned to me win this and there's a good chance you win next week so I had to take care of business," Fowler said of his win at the Scottish Open.
