In a stretch where Mike Gundy has repeatedly added to his Oklahoma State football staff, he will seemingly achieve a first.
Gundy is expected to hire Patsy Armstrong, San Diego State's football administration specialist, as director of on-campus recruiting, according to FootballScoop. Armstrong would the first woman hired to a football operations position in program history.
Armstrong has worked at SDSU since 2005, including the past five years in her position on Rocky Long's staff. Her duties included serving as the team liaison for student-athletes, human resources, development, marketing and NFL personnel. She also oversaw aspects of the Aztecs' recruiting and operational needs.
