STILLWATER - Oklahoma State appears to be down one more running back.
Redshirt freshman Jahmyl Jeter has entered the NCAA transfer portal, according to GoPokes.com.
The San Antonio, Texas, native redshirted last season, playing special teams in the Liberty Bowl. He played in just three games this season, carrying the ball 11 times for 34 yards. Each carry came against McNeese State.
Jeter, who is 6 foot and 215 pounds, suffered an ankle injury in the preseason. Entering the year, he was considered a player likely to contribute from the backfield.
But Chuba Hubbard has also emerged as the nation’s leading running back, leading to less opportunities for his backups.
