Glenn Spencer appears to be on his way to his third defensive coordinator job in as many seasons.
After one season at Charlotte, Spencer, who was Oklahoma State's defensive coordinator from 2013-17, is set to join Lane Kiffin's Florida Atlantic staff in the same role, per a report from FootballScoop's Doug Samuels.
Spencer had served on OSU coach Mike Gundy's staff since 2008 before he was fired in January of 2018 and replaced with Duke defensive coordinator Jim Knowles. He soon joined Charlotte as defensive coordinator, but a 5-7 season for the 49ers ended in the firing of coach Brad Lambert.
