Oklahoma State got some great news in regards to their defensive line depth. While coaches felt confident that defensive lineman Israel Antwine would be granted a hardship waiver after transferring from Colorado in January, it wasn’t a sure thing.
Until now.
The Oklahoman’s Scott Wright is reporting that the Millwood, Oklahoma product has been granted a hardship waiver by the NCAA and will be eligible to play immediately this upcoming season.
According to Antwine’s family, the sophomore applied for the waiver after having people in the Colorado program he was close to depart.
“Antwine had applied for a hardship exception after transferring following his freshman season at Colorado, when his head coach, position coach and academic advisor all left the program.
