Another day, another nail in the Pac-12’s coffin.
Arizona State and Utah have formally applied for membership to the Big12, according to a report by Pete Thamel. Earlier on Friday, Brett McMurphy tweeted that the two schools were “showing interest” in making a move to the conference.
Sources: Both Utah and Arizona State have applied for formal membership to the Big 12 Conference, and there’s a call tonight with the Big 12's presidents and chancellors to discuss their membership. Arizona applied and was approved yesterday.
This latest news comes a day after Arizona was formally accepted by the Big 12.
