Not too long after leaving Arizona, the Cowboys have lost both of their Arizona natives.
Redshirt freshman offensive lineman Cade Bennett announced his decision to enter the transfer portal on Thursday. Bennett appeared in two games for the Cowboys this season, playing against Kansas and in the Fiesta Bowl against Notre Dame.
Listed at 6-foot-3, 315 pounds, Bennett was part of the Cowboys’ 2020 recruiting class. A three-star prospect, he chose Oklahoma State over offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Iowa State, BYU, Purdue and others.
Bennett becomes the seventh OSU player to enter the portal this cycle, and he is the third offensive line prospect to do so, joining Hunter Anthony and Monroe Mills.
