Two Oklahoma State school records were broken on Friday at the Arkansas Invitational in Fayetteville.
Aaliyah Birmingham set a new OSU record for the women’s 60-meter in 7.42 seconds during her Cowgirls debut. Birmingham is a recent transfer from the University of Tulsa.
Jacob Fincham-Dukes joined in on the record setting with a new 60-meter
hurdles record. He finished in a time of 8.32 seconds.
The Cowgirls finished the day with five individual wins.
Jocelen Ruth took home the women’s weight throw with a winning distance of
15.70 meters.
Ryan Roane added a second individual victory in the field events winning
the women’s triple jump.
