RECAP: More growing pains show in Cowboy Basketball 53-63 loss to Houston

Untimely turnovers haunted the Cowboys in this game. They just couldn’t hold onto the basketball well enough when they would go on a run. Combine that with shooting just 31.8 percent from the field and you get a 65-53 loss for the Cowboys.

They would end the game with 12 turnovers and it seems like Houston was able to capitalize on all of them at all the wrong times. Houston was also +11 on the glass and turned that into 13 second-chance points.

Cam McGriff, Michael Weathers and Lindy Waters all had 7 points or below. They would combine for 6-26 on the night.
