STILLWATER — Raymond Taylor chugged toward the end zone, arms churning, head bobbing, working to draw every ounce of speed from his body.
It may have been late in Oklahoma State's 69-14 rout of UTSA, with the verdict long settled, yet it was crunch time for Taylor, a walk-on running back seeking to recapture an old sensation.
“That adrenaline rush is something that's been missing from my life for a while now,” said Taylor, who reached the goal line just ahead of two Roadrunners in pursuit. “To get that feeling back, and play some football, it was great.
