Q&A: Avery Anderson on Why He Chose OSU and His Biggest Strengths

Help is on the way for the Oklahoma State basketball team.

After finishing the season with seven scholarship players, the addition of the nation’s 23rd-ranked recruiting class is a welcome sight to many in Stillwater. Avery Anderson, a 6-foot-2 combo guard from Justin, Texas, is one of the four signed players in OSU’s 2019 class. Anderson, a four-star recruit, is the 124th-ranked prospect in the country. I had a chance to talk with him over the phone Monday afternoon. Here is our conversation.

What made OSU stand out as the place you wanted to go?

The reason I chose OSU was just because I feel like I bonded with Coach Boynton better out of all the coaches.
